Background
In 1994 I studied design at the Kent Institute of Art & Design gaining a NDip in Art & Design and 1st Class Honours Degree in graphic design. Since then I have worked in the industry for various clients such as SCOP, HERO, Aimhigher, Rochester Cathedral, Thanet College and a number of Kent business partnerships.
I am a freelance web and graphic designer as well as working for the University College for the Creative Arts as their Web Designer/Coordinator. I have taught web design at degree level and general design at NDip level. I also have excellent one-to-one web related training skills. I am a member of The Higher Education Academy (formally ilthe).
Industrial experience
The majority of projects I have worked on have been based within the education sector from public information and promotional sites through to staff intranets and bespoke learning environments. Following on from this I have also built up a range of clients' personal portfolio websites and commercial websites as well as identity and logo design.
